Today we return to the medical shill-website Healthline and their latest attempt at being “neutral” as they reviewed the Gary Brecka Diet, so let’s review their review, as it presents a great opportunity to bust Brecka’s tiny balls.
So, who is Gary Brecka? Well, he’s just another “biohacking” charlatan trying to sell you supplements and tailored “nutritional recommendations” based on his “genetic testing kits,” which are complete pseudo-science and nonsense. Healthline describe him as being considered a “mortality expert,” perhaps because his advice will speed-up ageing and mortality rates among his clients. He is most known for his 30-30-30 diet, as in eating 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up, followed by 30 minutes of exercise. Sounds like what some misled bodybuilders and fitness fools do as part of their fat loss routine – aka., ‘morning cardio.’
With that said, let’s see what Healthline has to say about Brecka’s Diet and it’s alleged pros and cons.
What is the Gary Brecka diet plan?
“The Gary Brecka diet is also sometimes known as the Gary Brecka keto diet. It’s a regime of high fat, low carb, moderate protein eating designed to place the body into ketosis.”
That is actually a good thing, as ketosis is our natural metabolic state where we as humans function at our best. However, many regular ketogenic diets allow vegetable/seed oils as a fat source, which is extremely toxic and damaging. It may also allow some vegetables, nuts, and seeds, which are just as damaging and contraindicated to the human diet. You should only consume animal protein and animal fat, as in meat, organ meats, the fat and the produce of animals, such as eggs and butter/ghee. Achieving ketosis any other way, as with some plant-based foods, will not be as effective as these will do continuous damage to the body.
“Gary Brecka offers personalized dietary and supplement recommendations based on blood and genetic test results, but he also generally recommends that people reduce the amount of refined sugars and unhealthy fats they consume. He emphasizes eating whole, unprocessed foods.”
And there we go, “supplement recommendations.” About 99.9% of all supplements are worthless and potentially toxic and damaging. Also, genetic testing is a fraud, a pseudo-science based on theoretical models and guesswork.
And as for blood tests, they will say absolutely nothing about what you need or should do. Blood is only what transport nutrients and oxygen to tissues. It is our tissues, what we call cells, that react to these nutrients and may store them, and these “cells” are all the same, and work in the same way, in all living beings.
Also, when an indoctrinated slave in a lab coat analyzes a blood sample, looking at what they think are markers for nutrients, such as iron, B-vitamins, calcium, folate, magnesium, and so on, it will only show what is in circulation at that precise moment in time. It will not tell you if your tissues are saturated or lacking, if you have an absorption problem, if your organs have recently released some into the bloodstream if you were in a fasted state, or if you are actually lacking any of these. As such, nutrient- and vitamin deficiency tests are mostly guesswork, a scam.
Only hormonal blood tests can give a few clues, but all that is pretty unnecessary if you understand the simple fact that humans are obligate hyper carnivores – that only the nutrients found stored in animals, just as they are stored in us, is the only way for us to get them. It’s only the nutrients found in animal-based foods that are bioavailable for us, while the alleged nutrients in plant-based foods are either in the wrong chemical form and/or bound to fiber and anti-nutrients. At best, we can only extract 4 to 8 % of some nutrients from plants, and they also lack more than 18 vital nutrients, all while containing lots of toxic defense chemicals, damaging anti-nutrients and pesticides.
The only way to guarantee that you do not have any deficiencies is by consuming a lot of animal-based foods on a regular basis.
So, yes, this Gary Brecka is a charlatan for sure, as all biohackers are.
What are some advantages of the Gary Brecka diet?
- “Improved metabolic health
- a reduction in blood sugar and insulin levels
- lowered blood pressure
- a decreased risk of heart disease
- weight loss and reduction in appetite”
All these advantages are simply the effect of being in our natural state of ketosis, running on our natural fat metabolism, as opposed to consuming extremely toxic and damaging carbohydrates that overloads our natural glucose-making mechanism (gluconeogenesis,) forcing the body to do everything it can to control our blood glucose levels or we would die. I’ve explained this in many, many, articles.
What are some disadvantages of the Gary Brecka diet?
“Gary Brecka encourages personalized dietary adjustments to make sure you get enough vitamins and minerals. However, there are some potential risks with a ketogenic-style diet.”
You can only get vitamins and minerals from animal-based foods as in meat, organ meats, bone marrow, raw dairy (or low-heat pasteurized dairy,) and eggs. You cannot supplement vitamins, as they do not exist in man-made supplement form. And minerals are tricky, as they need to be organically bound, or they will simply act as ‘rocks,’ damaging the body over time.
And there can only be risks with a “ketogenic-style” diet if you consume plant-based foods as part of the diet.
“Limited consumption of carbohydrates can cause the body to experience what is known as keto flu. Symptoms can include:
- fatigue
- nausea
- constipation
- dizziness”
No, these are NOT symptoms of “limiting carbohydrates.” These are symptoms of a damaged fat metabolism. If someone has been consuming carbohydrates for a long time, as in most of their life, their bodies have been in an emergency state all that time and they have almost never tapped into their natural fat metabolism and their natural glucose-generating metabolism, that of ‘gluconeogenesis.’ And as such, their kidneys are used to hold on to extra sodium and electrolytes due to the constantly high blood glucose.
If you switch your diet over a day or only a couple of days, a lot of that sodium and electrolytes will be flushed out. Also, your gut flora, your microbiome, need time to adapt to new food and lack of another. So, you will either experience diarrhea or constipation, or both at different intervals. You will experience fatigue because your body is not used or adapted to run on its natural fat metabolism. And this is why I teach all my clients how to transition slowly into a new way of eating over the span of 4 to 8 weeks depending on the individual. Once you have slowly transitioned and your body has ‘re-learned’ how to run on its natural fat metabolism, as in being in ketosis, none of these “symptoms” or “disadvantages” exists. And if you transition the right way, you will never experience them either.
“Ketogenic-style diets can also increase your chance of kidney stones and low blood sugar.”
Not really, you frikkin’ backwards-thinking dimwits. Kidney stones comes mainly from oxalates, as found in all green leafy vegetables, grains, and seeds, such as coffee. Carbohydrates and vegetable oils also contribute. So, once you have eliminated these, your body might actually start to heal and kidney stones and other plaque will be broken down and eliminated. In some, it may break down into small “stones” that can get stuck. A kidney stone is thus NOT the result of a ketogenic diet, that kidney stone is the result of everything you did wrong before switching your diet. Jeez, this is not hard to understand. It’s simple logic.
And low blood sugar is something you might experience initially as your body is not yet fat adapted. And again, that is why we use a transitioning phase, slowly changing your old diet into a ketogenic diet and then into a full carnivorous diet for optimal health and longevity.
“For long-term sustainability, it’s important to monitor the food and supplements you are taking to avoid vitamin deficiency.”
Frikkin’ morons! Never take any toxic man-made vitamin supplements. They are a scam! They are toxic! And the only way to get the nutrients we need is by consuming animal-based foods, and that should always be the staple of your diet, whether you do a “ketogenic diet” or actually adopt our species-appropriates carnivore diet. In 99.9% of all cases, nutrition deficiencies and severe diseases are seen in those relying mostly on plant-based and man-made foods, as in the modern diet, or worse, the mental-illness diets of vegetarianism or veganism.
“It’s important to remember that a ketogenic-style diet is not appropriate for everyone. A ketogenic diet is not advisable if you have:
- chronic kidney disease
- an eating disorder
- diabetes, unless under the supervision of a doctor
- liver failure or pancreatitis”
Shilling really hard, are we? Being in ketosis is our natural state, thus it is for EVERONE! And all these ‘conditions’ are fully reversible only when adopting our species-appropriate carnivore diet of animal-based foods and being in ketosis for most of the day. Only when you get all the nutrients your body needs it can begin to heal and repair, especially if combined with some fasting and a proper eating window, which will allow some rest for the organs and the digestive system.
Also, consuming anything else than what is species-appropriate is an ‘eating disorder.’ If you consume anything that is from the plant-kingdom, anything that is man-made, you are suffering from an eating disorder. That is the hard truth!
What is the Gary Brecka 30-30-30 diet?
“The 30-30-30 diet is eating 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up and following this with 30 minutes of low intensity exercise. Although Gary Brecka did not create this idea, he does promote it.”
This is simply a marketing gimmick. Extremely ridiculous.
With that said, you should have your first meal, as in protein and animal fat, within a few hours of waking up, or at least before noon. And you should do some kind of exercise or activity every now and then to keep your muscle mass and bone strength.
What are the Gary Brecka challenges?
“Over the years, Gary Brecka has promoted a variety of challenges to improve his viewer’s health including a breathwork challenge and a water fast. Gary Brecka’s followers have also done a 30-day challenge of the 30-30-30 diet.”
Nothing wrong with working on your breathing or beginning with some simple water fasting, although dry fasting is much better and much more effective. Still, you should always try water fasting first and make sure that you are fully fat adapted before doing any longer fasting or dry fasting.
What protein does Gary Brecka recommend?
“For protein shakes, Gary Brecka recommends vegan, vegetable-based, soy-free protein supplements. He advises against whey protein supplements.”
So, is he a full-blown retard or controlled opposition? Firstly, you should not need any protein supplement at all, unless you are really muscular and that’s your goal. You’ll get more than enough from meat and eggs. And vegetable-based protein supplements are extremely toxic and of extremely low quality, as they have very low bioavailability. Only a complete retard or controlled opposition would recommend such things, same as with the vegan diet.
What vitamin(s) does Gary Brecka recommend?
“Gary Brecka emphasizes the importance of Vitamin D3. He also recommends taking other vitamins and supplements on a personalized basis depending on the results of your bloodwork and biomarkers.”
Do I need to repeat myself? Vitamin D3 is a scam and extremely toxic. Do not touch it! And again, biomarkers are a pseudo-science and bloodwork says absolutely nothing. And also again, vitamin supplements are a hoax and extremely toxic. This Broken Brecka is a dangerous dude. Mortality expert for sure. Putting people in their grave way ahead of their time.
How did Gary Brecka help Dana White?
“Gary Brecka has been credited with increasing Dana White’s life expectancy. This was done through testing his biomarkers, changing his supplements and diet, doing cold plunges, and switching up his workout.”
Lol, say what? How do you know? This is pseudo-science and speculation at its worst.
To summarize, this was yet again another poke at our natural state of ketosis, all while lying about the need for toxic supplements. They are trying really hard to sell “ketosis” and “ketogenic diets” as a “temporary” solution for everything it’s shown to be good for, as they cannot deny that everyone who tries it improves their health. So, instead they focus on some of the problems that might occur if you change your diet from toxic carbohydrates to fats overnight, without transitioning. They want you to believe that a ketogenic diet can help with some health issues, but that it’s not sustainable, and that once you feel better you should go back to the retarded and toxic “balanced diet” with carbohydrates. It’s a very sinister and evil game they are playing, hiding the truth that humans are obligate hyper carnivores, and that the only way for us to thrive and live for as long as possible is to be fully carnivore and to be in a state of ketosis on a daily basis.
If you need real help with fat loss and/or transitioning from your current way of eating to our natural species-appropriate, species-specific way of eating, I’m available for both coaching and consultation.
