Stupid and Unhealthy Scams: The Fasting-Mimicking Diet

This might be one of the stupidest and most mislabeled “diet” fads to re-surface in a really long time. And when a pharmaceutical shill-website such as the evil ‘Medical News Today’ writes about it in a positive manner, you know that it’s satanical inversed bullshit. Before we move on, let’s define what a “fasting-mimicking diet” really is. According to the authors and the disinformation agent they interviewed, the one big shill Dr. Valter D. […]

Review: The 90/90 Fasting Diet

Back in the 90’s, circa 1997, when I ran Ironmag; the first real online magazine of its kind, we featured the Animal Diet, one of the first real ‘intermittent fasting’ diets for bodybuilders and gymrats. It was tailored for fat loss and simply consisted of a pre-workout snack and a post-workout ketogenic-style meal. That was it, and it still was better than most other ‘intermittent fasting’ diets that followed 10 or even 20 years

Blood Clots; Dry Fasting Update

Around September 5, I noticed a small redness and some minor itchy-like pain in my lower leg, which as you know turned out to be a small blood clot due to my earlier battle with tumors, being diabetic for a few years, and my congenital sensitivity for PAI-1(PAI-1 form blood clots by blocking the enzyme that keep your blood in a fluid-like state.) So, after preparing with increasing my intake of saturated fats, cholesterol,

The Fasted Cardio Debate

As You probably know, I’ve worked most of my life, or at least 28+ years professionally within the Health-, Fitness-, Gym-, Body Composition-, Sports-, Media- and Professional Athlete Industry, and one of the few websites I still randomly visit is T-Nation, and mostly because my old colleague from the 90’s, Christian Thibadeau, still writes for them on a regular basis. A few days ago, their ‘Chief Content Officer,’ Chris Shugart, published the article “The

160 Hours Fast and 134 Hours Dry Fasting

I started fasting early afternoon on December 29, and on December 30, I cut out all fluids and entered my dry fast phase where I still had contact with water, but nothing passed my lips. This morning, after my dog walk (3.50 to 4.45 a.m.,) I had some water and electrolytes, and as I write this, within the hour, I’m about to break my fast with some egg yolks mixed in heavy cream and

A Quick Look at the Fitness & Bodybuilding Pseudo/Bro-Science, Week 45

If you’re new to me and my website, I worked daily in the Fitness-, Bodybuilding-, Gym-, and Competitive Sports industry for almost 22-years with nutrition, supplementation, and training — and was involved in it for a total of more than 26 years. Most of that time, I too was trapped in the pseudo-science of “nutrition science” and was fooled by the synthetic toxic crap of the pharmaceutical and supplement industry. My outlook and understanding

New Dry Fasting Experiment and Life Update

This Thursday, after an early push-dominant workout and a post workout meal of raw fermented liver and some beef, I started yet another Dry Fast. The goal this time around is 5 to 6 days of not eating or drinking. As you might know, I did a 78-hours Dry Fast from April 23 to April 26, and before that I did 3 days with 2 day of dry fasting between April 18 and April 21.
