The Fallacy Of Focusing On A Single Nutrient In Useless Studies

Today we return to Examine.com for another perfect example of wasted time and resources on studies focusing on a single nutrient and a possible outcome.
This time some researchers performed a controlled trial and the possible effects of Omega-3 fatty acids and the occurrence of heart arrhythmias in 74 people with acute coronary syndrome.

Key study details

“The participants were admitted to a critical care unit in Iran. They received standard care and consumed either 1 gram of omega−3s or 1 gram of olive oil (the control) daily for 5 days.”

I‘ve covered all the possible problems with omega-3 supplements in previous articles, as both the manufacturing process and the storage of the oil in capsules poses large risks of oxidation, contaminations, and thus toxicity. Always get your omega-3 from animal-based foods where the fatty acids are both in the correct organic and bioavailable format, as well as being protected by their natural storage. In other words, omega-3 supplementation can be a hit or a miss, and even if you get decent quality oil, there might still be concerns of toxicity which will hamper the results and can cause other problems.

And as for olive oil, it’s simply an inorganic source of very toxic and damaging poly- and mono-unsaturated fats. They can never contribute to health or anything good in the human body, only the complete opposite as they have to be converted into something useful, a process that yields very little in return and produces toxic waste, not to mention that any of these fatty acids that are not converted will cause a lot of cellular damage. Never consume any kind of seed/vegetable oil!

“The omega−3 supplement reduced the occurrence of atrial fibrillation, premature atrial contractions, and premature ventricular contractions.”

Well, let’s reverse-engineer this as that is crucial to get the bigger picture and also to understand why these findings are totally irrelevant.

The first question you need to ask is what actually causes atrial fibrillation, premature atrial contractions, and premature ventricular contractions in people with acute coronary syndrome.
If you ask a “heart specialist” with their limited knowledge and understanding, or if you refer to any medical literature, it will say that common causes include hypertension, coronary artery disease (CAD,) and congestive heart failure (CHF.) That is of course, a complete bullshit answer, as these are simply more labels on different symptoms. So, to continue, what causes hypertension, coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure?
If you continue with the same sources, they will say that these conditions are caused by elevated blood pressure, plaque buildup in the arteries, and so on.

Do you see a pattern in the fake pseudo-science of “modern medicine” here? Yes, they are tangled up in different “conditions” and “labels” based on different symptoms. Extremely idiotic.

Plaque buildup is caused by repeatedly elevated levels of blood glucose which damages all soft tissues, including artery walls, and more so the combined exposure of glucose and the evil seed/vegetable oils which can stick to these walls.

So, if we go back to what actually causes damage in the body and what can interfere with its functions, there are only a few common offenders. We have tissue damage from toxic exposure, where anything plant-based and processed are the largest offenders, we also have damage from stress and always being in a fight-or-flight mode, and also damage from extreme physical stress, as in working out and doing unnecessary amounts of exercise. Then we have the largest culprit, that of nutrition. Unless you get plenty of animal-based foods daily, you will have one or several nutrient deficiencies on a sliding scale from mild to severe. Nutrient deficiencies can impact the body in many different ways, mostly depending on what nutrient that is lacking. However, looking at the big picture, most deficiencies will interfere with detoxification and tissue repair, as in healing damaged tissue from toxic exposure and especially a bad diet. Many deficiencies will also hamper or almost shut down different metabolic processes. All this is very basic physiology and biochemistry. And all this is the basis of every single “disease,” “condition” and “label” that the inverted and retarded medical field comes up with.

So, atrial fibrillation, premature atrial contractions, and premature ventricular contractions are usually the result of accumulated damage caused by toxic exposure and it can also be, and increase in severity, due to nutrient deficiencies, which can interfere with the functionality of the heart and even cell communication. For the heart and its electrical stability, the most important nutrients are animal-derived monounsaturated fats, as in omega-3, and also zinc, iron, and vitamin E. Nutrients that are only found in its correct bioavailable form in animal-based foods. And as you can see, omega-3 is one of many nutrients that are crucial for the functionality of the heart and its electrical communication (the pathways that control the heartbeat and ensure the coordinated contraction of the heart muscle.)

Now, this study was performed in Iran, a country that has been battling childhood stunting and anemia among women aged 15 to 49 years, and where nutritional questionnaires showed that 49.2% of the population experienced food insecurity, still 35.5% of adult women and 22.3% of adult men are living with obesity, which is twice that of neighboring countries — a clear sign of a very poor average diet that is low in life-sustaining animal foods. Many are overfed on crap and malnourished on real proper human food, as in animal-based foods.

So, likely most of the people in the trial were deficient in omega-3, and unless the supplement were totally rancid, they might have benefitted a little bit from it, especially the heart and the brain that both are very dependent on omega-3s. However, if someone with several nutrient deficiencies receives an omega-3 supplement, there might be zero benefits as the other nutrient deficiencies are not being addressed. And this is why I point out these trials and studies as totally pointless. We already know that nutrient deficiencies can cause these symptoms, these problems, and if they’re also the result of cellular damage, certain nutrient deficiencies can aggravate them.

Also, you can get an opposite reaction if these symptoms are a sign of an ongoing healing process of damaged tissue, as in the damaged tissue and the inflammation is disturbing the electrical communication, and then you take something that is toxic and your body has to deal with that instead, and suddenly the situation seems to improve as the healing and its symptoms stopped. This is how drugs, medicines, and remedies work. They cause acute poisoning, diverting the body’s resources, fooling you into believing that you got better, when in fact damage is still accumulating and you’re setting yourself up for a stroke, or worse.

Instead, as with any kind of ailment or condition, the person in care needs to be fully nourished, as in receiving plenty of animal-based foods, the only source of all essential nutrients we need and also in fully bioavailable organic and bioactive forms. And by changing the diet to be more animal-based, you will also lessen the toxic load as you remove toxic plant-based and processed crap. This is the only way to create a terrain where detoxification and healing is possible, and where organs and tissues can work again as intended by nature. And this is why the food in hospitals are abysmal, the complete opposite of healthy, because they want you to be weak, damaged, and dependent on drugs that simply inhibit the symptoms, making you feel a little better while the damage continues to accumulate until that threshold is reached and you end up in the ground.

Examine.com’s take

“While the reductions in heart arrhythmias are promising, the short duration and small sample size limit the strength of the findings.”

That comment simply shows that you guys at Examine.com do not really understand simple biology, physiology, or biochemistry, nor do you see the forest for the trees. Again, any kind of health problem is the result of either damage from toxic exposure and/or stress/trauma, and/or from nutrient deficiencies. If you add in one nutrient, some benefits might be observable, depending on the quality and/or conversion of that nutrient, and also what else might be lacking and interfering. This is why some studies might show a small positive result while others show none at all, because there are other more important variables to consider.

Did you improve one variable of many, actually causing a small improvement in healing and functionality, or did you cause acute poisoning, shutting down the healing and thus reducing the symptoms? Of course, we who understand biochemistry already know what will do what, but more importantly, we see the bigger picture, we see and understand the terrain.

So, again, add in real whole natural animal-based foods such as ruminant meat, organ meats, eggs, and some fatty fish, and your will guarantee that any nutrient deficiency will be addressed and that both detoxification and healing can take place, as well as making sure that all metabolic processes and organs can function properly.

Unfortunately, the modern practice of “science” is all about focusing on one single thing, and thus getting funding and the opportunity to do more follow-up studies, spinning the same unusable wheel. No one is interested in the real truth, the real underlying issues and its simple solutions.
