Artificial Vitamins And Minerals Associated With Greater Fatigue

In this prospective cohort study, as summarized by the Supplement- and Food Industry shills at Examine.com, 1,361 participants (average age of 61) in Switzerland during an average period of 3.8 years reported their vitamin- and mineral supplement use and their fatigue levels, which were were assessed using the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and the 14-item version of the Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFS.)

As we know that artificial vitamins, as in supplements, are mostly fake, will be highly toxic, and if they can be identified by the body, they require conversion which is very toxic in itself — while mineral supplements might be poorly absorbed at best, the results of this study should either be negligible or slightly negative due to the increased toxic load and stress on the body.

While taking a large dose of a vitamin, or several vitamins, might give a temporary boost in fake alertness and “energy” due to acute poisoning and the stress-induced fight-or-flight response, long term use of a more “average” consumption will not be enough for a pronounced stress response, but will add to the toxic load which will take its toll over time (thus increasing fatigue and symptoms of “disease.”)

So, let’s see what they found and what the shills at Examine thought about it.

Key study details

“At baseline, the participants reported whether they’d used supplements in the previous 6 months and assessed their levels of fatigue using questionnaires. The researchers followed the participants for an average of 3.8 years.”

3.8 years is more than enough to see patterns. Although, the method of questionnaires is far from reliable.

“There was a higher incidence of clinical fatigue and increased fatigue scores in supplement users versus nonusers.”

Not that surprising, as I mentioned earlier. Supplementation use will vary greatly throughout the population and thus the study participants. A minor supplementation of a daily multivitamin should not produce any significant toxicity that might be perceived as either a stress response or additional fatigue if you can detox somewhat properly. However, those who pick a handful of different vitamin and/or mineral supplements and pop them daily might very likely increase their toxic load to such levels that they notice more fatigue and lowered mental energy throughout the day after continuous use — while some might at first notice an “improvement” due to the fight-or-flight stress response, but that will slowly decrease as their bodies runs out of resources and then “chronic fatigue” will start to accumulate. That is simple logic and common sense.

It would have been more interesting with comparisons between different groups of “more” or “less” supplementation while all participants also were put on a similar diet, as the diet is the main cause of toxicity. The more plant-based- and processed foods, the higher the toxic load will be and thus the chance of feeling fatigued and developing all kinds of “modern diseases.”

The best scenario would be to have participants who follow our species-appropriate natural human diet of solely animal-based foods, and then let them take these toxic supplements for a few months and record all kinds of fatigue and mental acuity levels and compare them between groups with their previous scores as recorded before the intervention. However, that will never happen and I would not like it to happen either, as it would be abuse and mistreatment to knowingly give other humans toxic unnatural and artificial supplements that will poison and damage their bodies.

Examine.com’s take

“Because this was an observational study, reverse causation cannot be ruled out — meaning it’s possible that supplement use did not increase fatigue, but rather that participants with clinical or higher fatigue were more likely to use supplements in an attempt to reduce fatigue.”

Of course you will say this, as you shill for the supplement and food industry and want people to be sick, tired, dumbed-down and dependent on the establishment’s toxic and backwards solutions (as in only suppressing symptoms and not healing.)
With that truth being said, if you read the full paper (which you always should do) and not only the abstract, it clearly states that “fatigue status was only collected in the second and the third follow-ups” and “when we analyzed whether participants consumed VMS or VMDS continuously, we included data from the first follow-up of the original study.” That means that the groups were picked based on their usage or non-usage of supplements, and not whether they showed symptoms of fatigue or not. And then the authors tracked their fatigue levels during the two follow-ups, which increased within the supplement groups but not in the non-supplement groups. Hence, both scales used for fatigue assessment increased in the supplement group with time, during both follow-ups, indicating that they got worse from the additional toxic load of artificial vitamin and/or mineral supplements.

But let’s humor the imbeciles at Examine.com and say that many that feel fatigued reach out for these toxic supplements, they still produced worse scores as time progressed. So, these “vitamins” or “minerals” did not help to improve anything fatigue-related. Actually, they got somewhat worse during the 3.8 years of observation.

“A limitation of this study is a lack of information about the supplementation practices of the participants (e.g., the type of supplements used and dosages).”

Yes, this was my critique stated earlier with possible solutions. However, it would be very cruel to actually put together such studies and willingly poison people. This cohort study was based on already available data collected in huge health studies where these parameters were reported and recorded.

Still, even if you do not put much trust in the findings, there’s no way around the fact that all artificial man-made vitamins are totally fake and extremely toxic, or that mineral supplements have a very low bioavailability and lacks co-factors and food synergy, making them potentially toxic as well, as a lot of them will not be absorbed but will end up in tissues causing toxicity, damage and/or plaque.

Always get your micronutrients from real natural animal-based foods. Red meat and eggs contain everything you need, and organ meats even more so. No need for supplements ever, even if they actually would be real and work as intended. A total waste of money and health.
