The story goes like this. Haraldur Thorleifsson, an Iceland-based Twitter senior director, tweeted to Musk that access to his computer had been cut off nine days earlier, when Twitter reportedly laid off some 200 employees. Thorleifsson said in his tweet, “your head of HR is not able to confirm if I am an employee or not.” Musk responded in a tweet asking, “what work have you been doing?” When Thorleifsson provided a list of his tasks in response, Musk appeared to cast doubt on several points. “Pics or it didn’t happen,” he tweeted. Then, allegedly, in a separate tweet, Musk wrote that Thorleifsson “did no actual work, and claimed as an excuse that he had a disability that prevented him from typing.” Thorleifsson then clarified in a tweet that he has muscular dystrophy, a degenerative disease that he says put him in a wheelchair more than 20 years ago and that his job was mostly to help teams move forward, give them strategic and tactical advice.”
Then it all supposedly ended with Musk tweeting; “I would like to apologize to Halli for my misunderstanding of his situation. It was based on things I was told that were untrue or, in some cases, true, but not meaningful,” Musk tweeted Tuesday. “He is considering remaining at Twitter.”
Yeah sure. How can people fall for this silly theatre act? Who in their right mind would tweet about their job situation and share personal information on a open social media platform? Normal people would take this up with their manager or superior, or send an internal personal e-mail. This is so scripted and silly that it’s not even fit for an illustrated gossip tabloid, yet CNN ran with it of their front page. Only that alone should tell you that it’s complete bollocks, a scripted humiliation ritual.
This ritual took place on March 6, like 3/6, or 36. March 6 was also exactly 36 weeks after Musk’s last June 28 birthday. Such an incredible coincidence, wouldn’t you say? A double 36. And we all know what 36 represents. Yes, ‘666,’ which is the 36th triangular number.
