As you likely noticed, as of this morning’s new article, I’m back after my 5-day hiatus due to a PC upgrade and shipping trouble of ordered components. Anyway, booting Windows 11 on my old M.2 Gen3 drive in my new system was a breeze. Updating drivers for the new motherboard and CPU only took a few minutes. And when all ran smoothly after reactivating Windows, I did a clone copy of the system disk to my new much faster M.2 Gen5 drive (to use as a new system/boot drive.) I also did a simple overclock on the P-cores of the i9-13900K processor to 6100 MHz (from 5800MHz) while also undervolting it to run even cooler and more energy efficient. The 13900K is known to run hot, but that is due to bad auto-settings on most motherboards. If you set it up manually, it will consume less power and run a lot faster than the AMD Ryzen 9 7950x3d. The YouTuber SkatterBencher has some great in-depth tutorials on this for the geeks out there.
From one thing to a completely other. I have received some questions and requests about articles covering SARMS, such as Ostarine (MK-2866) and Ligandrol (LGD-4033), and the growth hormone secretagogue Ibutamoren (MK-677.)
As I’m somewhat familiar with most ‘performance enhancing drugs’ due to my former background as an elite-level coach, and the fact that there’s so much misinformation out there, especially about side-effects and toxicity, I might consider it. I know a lot of older guys and gals are eying Ibutamoren due to the anti-ageing and healing effects of growth hormone – however, as it’s an agonist of the ghrelin receptor, there are a lot of physiological effects to consider (as it simply mimics what happens during fasting, which most ‘researchers’ and ‘coaches’ does not seem to understand — and why Ibutamoren [as in higher levels of growth hormone] can cause ‘insulin resistance’ if you consume carbohydrates like a complete retard.)
If I can help people, and hopefully prevent them from doing stupid things and hurting themselves, I will try to put together something — at least covering the most important and misunderstood effects and why they are actually happening, and how to go around it if you still opt to use the drug.
There are actually a few people out there warning about the toxicity and side-effects, such as Ryan Russo, however, as all of them lack proper understanding of human physiology, there is a lot more to be said on the subject. The problem is that pretty much every ‘scientist,’ ‘researcher,’ and ‘coach’ has been indoctrinated with the pseudo-science of nutrition and the food industry. They do not understand what true human homeostasis is (the condition of optimal functioning for the organism.)
We as humans are obligate hyper carnivores. We are made to only consume animal fat and animal protein. We are in perfect homeostasis when we are in ketosis and our body manufactures all the glucose we need through gluconeogenesis. This should be the starting point when investigating any effects on our body from any kind of alteration or compound. However, our society has been deceived into consuming toxic, unnecessary, and damaging carbohydrates — and that is now the norm for every single test subject and anyone doing experiments on their own. They start with a physiology that is already under distress and does not run anywhere near what is natural and is our state of homeostasis. They set themselves up to fail even before they began. And that is why almost every single study on humans is skewed and most physiological responses are misunderstood and completely misrepresented in the literature.
So, yes, I will likely cover this, including some ‘PEDS,’ and much more in the future, as I already explain a lot of physiological responses on almost a daily basis with my clients and through my consulting services when helping people with their health problems or physique goals. If my free work and articles on this website (bartoll.se) can get some people to rethink and use logic and common sense, it’s a victory. We need a lot more freethinkers and open minded people in this world.
If you have requests or are interested in my view on any subject, feel free to send me a message on social media. However, as I get a ton on a daily basis, do not send me questions expecting an answer — that is what my consulting services are for. However, any requests will be noted and saved for future articles.
Thank you for reading, and see you again tomorrow!
