Life Updates And Supplements For Our Proper Human Diet

My last ‘personal’ update was in late May, at the end of almost two weeks of sunny weather. Since then, we’ve had a few days here and there, perhaps ten days in total of decent summer weather, but mostly cold, windy and rainy days. Likely one of the coldest summers in history — as usual nowadays with the weather modification in full force.

Still, I’ve been outside a lot, and we have also stepped up our training at the gym a little bit since mid-May; from the usual 3 to 4 times a week to 5 times a week. Still only about 30 to 35 minutes per session, but the increase really made a difference in my physique — and that was what I was curious about.
Since the gym is my sanctuary and I have always loved the iron game, doing physical labor and keeping a lean and athletic physique, I thought it would be interesting to see if I could get back or even surpass the physique I had in 2016 before the cancer, the tumors, and organ damage I got from all toxic green powders, nuts and seeds, sport- and nutrition supplements, carb loading and so on. And sure, at the meager age of 50-years old, and following our species-appropriate, species-specific carnivorous diet with a total of 2,5 hours a week in the gym, I did just that.

Also, since March, I’ve been focusing a lot on slowing down the eccentric (lowering) part of all exercises to about 3 to 5 seconds and with a pause of at least 1 second at the stretched position. While this is superior for muscle growth, it also makes every exercise a lot heavier, forcing you to use less weight and thus decreases the risk of injury and unnecessary stress — something that is very important for longevity.

In the past, I always had small nagging injuries. Although I healed them all by adopting our proper human diet and doing some fasting, I prefer to lessen the stress on the body. I’m already extremely strong for my body weight from being active and training on and off for over 37 years, and that is more than enough to allow me to do some heavy work outside the gym when necessary (as in working on the farm.)

Now, we took a break during Friday and Saturday, so I fasted from Thursday afternoon until Saturday evening. Only one day of dry fasting this time, and then I experimented a bit with my electrolyte loading when introducing water again on Saturday.

On Thursday morning, I weighed 79.4 kg (174.7 lbs.), and on Saturday before introducing water and electrolytes, I was at about 78 kg (172 lbs.) After a day with a lot of electrolyte water (my own formula) and a big meal at 4 p.m. of beef, eggs, and butter, I weighed 79.2 kg (174.2 lbs.) on Sunday morning. I usually lose more than 0.5 kg of body fat from two days of fasting, especially when doing a bit of dry fasting. So, I managed to hydrate my body more than usual. Perhaps I should take a little bit of extra electrolytes on days that I train, especially considering that I’m out walking with dogs three to four times a day, usually for 2 to 4 hours and 20 km or more (12+ miles/day.) That does “burn” some energy and deplete you of salts.

Me at 50-years old, July 21, 2024, after a training session, 79.2 kg (174 lbs.)

Anyhow, the photo was taken right after my vertical push (shoulder) and vertical pull (back) workout this past Sunday morning. And yes, I do look leaner in better lightning, a lot leaner.

As for my training, I might continue to push a little for a few more weeks or even months, just because I enjoy it so much. Then I probably back off to my usual 3 times a week for mostly maintenance and focusing on other things.

And that takes me to another topic as I received a shipment of free carnivore supplements from Swedish Dense Nutrition a few weeks back to try out. These “supplements” are based on real natural animal-based food, such as ghee (clarified butter,) marrow fat (clarified bone broth,) bone broth powder (freeze-dried bone broth), and beef heart capsules (dried and powdered beef heart.) All powders, and the powders that come in capsules, are made by freeze drying, which preserves the most nutrition.

They also carry products such as Beef Protein (hydrolyzed protein powder made from beef,) Beef Collagen (collagen peptide powder,) Beef Organs (powder from liver, heart and kidneys,) Beef Liver (powdered liver,) Beef Testicles (powdered testicles,) and much more.

Supplements like these can be a good solution if you can’t get a certain part of an animal where you live, or if you’re uncertain of the quality where you shop. It’s also convenient, especially the bone broth powder that quickly became my favorite, as I make a simple gravy from it combined with a few eggs to have along with my meat.
