November 2, 2020. Training update!

Another little update for the nosy bastards. It’s been 9 days or so since the fast. I’ve been at the gym for 8 of them and my morning weight is now at 77.6 kg (171 lbs.) – so up another 1.6 kg in 5 days. And my evening weight is closing in on 79 kg. My body is like a sponge. Therefore, I will change my nutritional strategy a bit before I get too […]

October 28, 2020. 4 days after the 5-day fast.

Just a quick update. It’s been 4 full days since my 5-day fast. And I did my fourth training session today as well. Chest and biceps. The program I developed will be available shortly (you can get the first macrocycle by contacting me, if you don’t want to wait). The photo is from the locker room, five minutes after the workout. August 18, 2020. Training and goals update

If anyone is interested in what I’m currently doing, here’s a short update for you. In early February, when I got back to the gym after more than three years mostly off from training due to my illnesses, I weighted a measly 62 kg (136 lbs.) Hydrogen comes in two “shapes”: we have regular hydrogen, which is actually called protium, and then we have deuterium. Deuterium has the same properties as hydrogen, except

Know Your Poison: Phytic Acid

In this part of covering all the toxic plant chemicals, we will look at phytic acid; one of the few antinutrients that at least some people actually know exists. While it fades in comparison with some other plant defense toxins, it’s still a very serious and dangerous one. As with all antinutrients, they are simply chemicals that bind to nutrients that the plant, or seed, need in order to grow. Phytic acid is no

TDEE, Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure and “Calories” Explained

The TDEE formulas are derived from an average of people following a typical westernized/modern diet. This kind of diet is high carbohydrate and made up of at least 70 to 80 percent of plant foods (keep in mind that almost

Do You Need Antioxidants? The Antioxidant Scam.

It’s been a few years since antioxidants exploded in popularity and flooded the “health-food” and even sports supplement market. Sure, antioxidants can inhibit oxidation and thereby lower the production of free radicals (which can harm our cells). However, the main thing influencing oxidation and the production of free radicals is your diet, your environment (pollution) and amount of exercise. As for diet, the biggest offender is carbohydrate metabolism. When we produce energy from carbohydrates,
