Back On Facebook After 35 Days Suspension Due To Facebook AI Malfunctioning

As you might remember, my Facebook account was suspended on May 30 after I posted a teaser of my latest article “Consuming Most Of Your Food During The Day And Not Eating In The Evening Improves Cardiometabolic Health” and then posted the link to my website in the comments of my own post. Apparently, that broke the rule about “cybersecurity.”

Of course, this is complete nonsense, as “cybersecurity” is about trying to access someone’s account and data. Likely, some idiot at Facebook has flagged my website as a “cybersecurity” threat, and me posting a link to it got my post removed and slapped me with a 35-day suspension. Ridiculous!

Usually when you appeal, it should only take a few days for them (probably their worthless AI) to check the post and render a decision. Last time this happened, it took six days. This time, well, it took 35 days.

Actually, after the first week I got an email from Facebook reminding me to appeal the suspension, which I of course had done the same day it happened. So, when following their link, I simply reached the page where it stated that I should check back within a day to see the result.

This led me to suspect that my Facebook account was broken. After another week of absolutely nothing happening I did a quick search on the Internet for posts of successfully contacting Facebook. It turned out that they have absolutely no support for their regular users, only for paying and verified Meta customers, as in advertisers and business accounts. However, I did manage to collect a few email addresses that some people claimed to have had success with and that were still operational, likely monitored by AI. So, I simply wrote a short email explaining the situation and asking them to look at my account.

Now, I’m not sure if that helped or not, but I’m finally back on Facebook again and I’m (for now at least) available on Messenger (which many of my clients and also close friends prefer instead of the worthless WhatsApp, Telegram and other chat platforms.)

Well, that’s it for now. I have a lot of things to do and I’ll be back with regular articles as always tomorrow.
