The pharmaceutical and food industry shills at Science Daily are back with yet another bought-and-paid-for study on cancer — our natural defense against an extreme toxic load when detoxification can’t keep up. Let’s see how they twist and try to deceive the public with linoleic acid and cancer this time.
“Linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid found in seed oils such as soybean and safflower oil, and animal products including pork and eggs, specifically enhances the growth of the hard-to-treat “triple negative” breast cancer subtype, according to a preclinical study led by Weill Cornell Medicine investigators. The discovery could lead to new dietary and pharmaceutical strategies against breast and other cancers.”
And there you go. You outright lied in your first sentence, trying to vilify natural foods such as pork and eggs. Linoleic Acid was first identified in linseed oil (flaxseed oil) in 1844 by F. Sacc. The name “linoleic acid” was derived from the Latin word “linum,” meaning flax, and the Greek word “oleos,” meaning oil. The name “linoleic acid” reflects the chemical properties and structure of the fatty acid, and not its specific source — and this is crucial to understand.
In plants, linoleic acid is typically found as two double bonds esterified to glycerol as part of phospholipids, such as phosphatidylcholine or phosphatidylethanolamine, or as a component of triacylglycerols in seed oils. Herbivores and some omnivores can extract linoleic acid and store it in their tissues without much harm where it is stored in the form of triglycerides, which are composed of three double bonds attached to a glycerol molecule. In humans, this conversion is very limited and also toxic, as we will get to.

This means that there are two very separate versions of linoleic acid. One that is found in plants and one that has been metabolized and stored in a bioavailable format in organic tissue, as in animals and our own cells. Guess which one is toxic?
Yes, the unnatural plant-based fatty acids that have to be converted, a process that yields very limited returns and whatever was not converted will be extremely toxic to the body.

However, that is only scratching the surface. All plant-based unsaturated fats are extremely prone to oxidation, becoming rancid the moment they are separated from the source and come in contact with light, moisture, oxygen and/or heat. This means that most of any plant-based linoleic acid, such as found in soybean- and safflower oil, and in most processed foods, are rancid and thus extremely toxic and damaging to our tissues.

So, in best case scenario, when consuming plant-based linoleic acid, half of it is rancid and totally unusable for the body, simply doing extreme damage to tissues, while the other half undergoes conversion where perhaps half of that half can be used and the rest is once again toxic waste doing damage. This is extremely bad and very damaging to the body, especially if your diet lacks animal-based foods, as in being nutrient deficient, as you will not be able to detox properly.

In contrast, any linoleic acid found in animal products is not only fully bioavailable, not needing any conversion at all, but is also protected as a whole part of the food. Linoleic acid can only go rancid in animal produce if exposed to high heat for a very long time, and that does not naturally happen.

So, linoleic acid from any animal food is perfectly safe and natural. It can not contribute to disease. However, linoleic acid from plants… Well, that’s a completely different story.
Unfortunately, the extremely dumbed down and uneducated doctors will tell their patients to cut out life-sustaining food such as beef, lamb and eggs because of this deceit, that they do not differentiate between damaging plant-based linoleic acid and healthy natural animal-based linoleic acid.
“In the study, published March 14 in Science, the researchers found that linoleic acid can activate a major growth pathway in tumor cells by binding to a protein called FABP5. Comparing breast cancer subtypes, the team observed that this growth pathway activation occurs in triple-negative tumor cells, where FABP5 is particularly abundant, but not in other hormone-sensitive subtypes. In a mouse model of triple-negative breast cancer, a diet high in linoleic acid enhanced tumor growth.”
Guess what kind of linoleic acid they feed mice with? Yes, seed oils, typically soybean oil!

As for the FABP5 nonsense, it’s all irrelevant. Oxidized unsaturated fats from any plant source are extremely toxic and if you consume a lot of these fats, your body will eventually have to protect itself by forming tumors to encapsulate the toxins.
“This discovery helps clarify the relationship between dietary fats and cancer, and sheds light on how to define which patients might benefit the most from specific nutritional recommendations in a personalized manner, said study senior author Dr. John Blenis.”
Plant-based unsaturated fats, as in seed/vegetable oils, should not be considered “dietary fats,” as they are inappropriate to human nutrition and are not a not part of our species-specific, species-appropriate diet which consists solely of animal-based foods.

Again, the only way to reverse “cancer” is to remove the toxic offenders, which most of the time are inappropriate foods, as in anything plant-based, and then nourish the body with its appropriate animal-based nutrition so it can heal. I’ve done this myself and I’ve helped many others with “death sentences” do the same. And now we’re all healthy and thriving.
“Omega-6 linoleic acid is a diet-derived nutrient that is considered essential in mammals for supporting multiple bodily processes. However, the abundance of this fat in ‘Western-style’ diets has increased significantly since the 1950s, coinciding with the increased usage of seed oils in fried and ultra-processed foods. This has led to concerns that excessive omega-6 intake might be one of the explanations for rising rates of certain diseases, including breast cancers. But decades of studies have yielded mixed and inconclusive results, and have never uncovered any biological mechanism tying omega-6s to cancers.”
This is only a half-truth, but at least you mentioned seed oils and processed foods. The truth is that any unsaturated fat from any plant source is toxic, and even more so when separated from the plant and exposed to oxygen, light, and heat, as it immediately becomes steadily more and more rancid. In other words, any kind of “bottled” seed/vegetable oil is extremely toxic and unhealthy and should never be consumed by any living being.

So, drop the silly focus on “omega-6” and take a look at the big elephant in the room, the fat bastard that has the phrase “the food industry bought and paid for the fake nutrition science” painted all over it.

After this, Science Daily simply cites the findings and theories put forth by the imbeciles conducting the study. They mention that linoleic acid activates mTORC1, as in mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 or mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1; a protein complex that functions as a nutrient/energy/redox sensor and controls protein synthesis.
That is hardly surprising as mTORC1 is activated whenever any kind of tissue building or remodeling occurs, be it new muscle mass, repairing tissue damage or building a protective tumor. So, in that sense, it’s totally irrelevant and only shows their ignorance.

Do not focus on natural functions of the body and try to intervene or change them, focus on what is causing the undesirable effect, as in the toxic load that forces the body to build a tumor as it no longer can keep up with its detoxification. Remove that toxic load and the body no longer has a reason to protect itself by forming tumors. Then supply the body with nutrients, and it will heal and the tumor will slowly be broken down and discarded as the body’s natural detoxification can once again catch up and function as intended due to a lower toxic load and being fully nourished. Simple.
Intervening and trying to change how the body operates only delays the inevitable outcome as you have not addressed the real problem, that of the offenders causing damage in the body.
To conclude, once again, the evil and deadly seed/vegetable oils roar its ugly head. Just cut it off, and you’ll be way better off. Better yet, adopt our species-specific, species-appropriate natural human diet of animal-based foods, as in being fully carnivore, and you’ll be the epitome of health. Again, it’s that simple.
