Today we return to Examine.com and another summary of an umbrella review of 7 meta-analyzes looking at the totally misunderstood, backwards-thinking, and surely agenda-driven view of inflammatory and “antioxidant” biomarkers.
Inflammation is simply the body’s manifestation of detoxification and healing, something that is necessary and vital to your survival if you expose your body to toxins, as in an inappropriate diet and/or environmental toxins. Inflammation, as in detoxing and healing, must thus run its course — and it is imperative that you support your body in doing so.

If the toxic load lessens and/or the body has the nutrients available to detoxify and heal the damaged tissue, inflammation will slowly go down and disappear once the job is finished.
This is the natural cycle of detoxification and healing.

However, if you take a drug, supplement, remedy, herb, or anything else that is inherently toxic and that interferes with these processes and inflammation suddenly goes down, that is a very, very bad thing, as it clearly shows that your body’s detoxification and healing capability has suddenly decreased. And if inflammation goes down before the job has been finished, it means that toxins once again are accumulating and tissues are getting damaged, but your body can’t do anything about it because you are poisoning yourself with something that interferes with its abilities. Now, that is clearly very dangerous!

So, this time, these morons calling themselves researchers looked at black seeds and its ‘anti-inflammatory,’ as in ‘anti-healing’ properties.
Simply the most fundamental classification in biology, that it is a seed, the most toxic and protected part of any plant, should be enough to understand what actually will happen if it is consumed — as in acute poisoning.

Let’s see how Examine summed this up, and if they have a clue about what they just summarized…
“In this umbrella review of 7 meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials in 3,284 participants, researchers looked at changes in inflammatory and antioxidant biomarkers after supplementation with black seed (Nigella sativa.)”
Again, seeds are the most toxic part of any plant. They contain a lot of defense chemicals such as polyphenols, tocopherols, terpenoids, and terpenes which will cause acute poisoning, as in a fight-or-flight stress response and they will inhibit the functionality of the liver. I’ve covered this and the biochemistry behind it in multiple articles.

Key study details
“The participants (average ages of 35 to 43) included adults without known health conditions and adults with obesity, metabolic syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, or type 2 diabetes. The daily dose of black seed ranged from 1.3 grams to 1.9 grams, and the intervention duration ranged from 2 to 12 weeks.”
So, most of the participants had toxic-induced obesity, metabolic syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, or type 2 diabetes. In other words, their bodies were in an extreme state of “chronic inflammation,” which simply means that the body is struggling under a big toxic load and tissue damage while not having the resources to keep up with detoxing and healing due to the extreme bad lifestyle of these people. They are likely suffering from several nutrient deficiencies which impair both detoxification and healing, while the toxic load is enormous because these people certainly still consume a lot of plant-based and processed crap while taking retarded drugs and medicines to dull their symptoms. They do nothing to actually get better, as in removing the toxic load and nourishing their bodies with species-appropriated foods, as in animal-based foods. And then some researchers gave them black seeds that are very high in defense chemicals such as polyphenols, tocopherols, terpenoids, and terpenes, which we already know interfere with detoxification and healing by reducing the production of C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-alpha. This is very, very bad for those poor people.
“Supplementation with black seed reduced (improved) C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor-alpha, and malondialdehyde and increased (improved) total antioxidant capacity and superoxide dismutase activity, all with moderate certainty.”
Putting the word “improved” in parentheses shows your ignorance and complete lack of understanding. It’s shameful. The word “improved” is only appropriate if you actually removed the toxic load and nourished the body so that all health markers slowly began to improve as the body could finally detoxify and heal — a process that would take many, many years — but that would actually make them healthy again and greatly expand their lifespan. Likely, you would not see a reduction in these markers until after several years, and before that, you would notice a lot of other improvements as tissues detoxified and healed.
Now, let’s look at these markers and what they really mean.
C-reactive protein (CRP) is a pentameric protein that plays a significant role in our body’s natural healing process. It is synthesized by the liver in response to cytokines such as interleukin-6 (IL-6,) and its levels increase dramatically in response to tissue damage from toxic exposure or physical injury as a part of the inflammatory/healing response.
CRP’s detoxification and healing properties are primarily linked to its ability to bind to damaged cells. This binding facilitates the clearance of necrotic and apoptotic cells and bacteria once it has assisted in the breakdown of toxins and other cellular debris, thus aiding in the healing process.
In other words, CRP’s main purpose is to remove damaged and dead cells and debris, working in tandem with bacteria that also aid in the healing process.

Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α) is a multifunctional cytokine with both detoxification and healing properties. Similar to C-reactive protein, Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha plays a role in the detoxification process by promoting the clearance of damaged cells and cellular debris. Additionally, TNF-α can induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in severely damaged cells, so they can be removed and replaced. This usually happens during a fasted state as the body enters autophagy, its enhanced self-cleaning and healing state.
TNF-α is also a potent inducer of inflammation/healing as it binds to TNF-R1 and TNF-R2 receptors on the surface of cells, triggering signaling pathways that lead to the expression of adhesion molecules, chemokines, and other tissue healing mediators.
TNF-α can also promote angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels, which is essential for tissue repair and regeneration.
In other words, TNF-α either supports cell functionality during detoxification or initiates cell death if the cell is damaged beyond repair so it can be cleared out, while also promoting formation of new blood vessels to better clear out toxins and debris.

Malondialdehyde (MDA) is a β-dicarbonyl compound that is a colorless liquid and exists mainly as its enol form, hydroxyacrolein. It is a physiological metabolite in our bodies and can be perceived as a marker for oxidative stress, often resulting from lipid peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
In other words, if malondialdehyde decreases in someone, it’s simply because that person reduced his or her consumption of toxic polyunsaturated fats. So, some people in some of the studies simply ate less of something that was toxic to them, as in some seed/vegetable oil, which is a good thing, but it has nothing to do with black seeds, so this is totally irrelevant for this umbrella review.

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is an enzyme that catalyzes the dismutation of the superoxide anion radical into normal molecular oxygen and hydrogen peroxide. This enzyme is crucial for protecting cells against the toxic products of aerobic respiration, as superoxide is produced as a by-product of oxygen metabolism and can cause various types of cell damage if not regulated.
SOD is triggered by the presence of superoxide radicals, which are formed during normal cellular metabolism and can also be generated during stress conditions or during severe healing where bacteria is necessary for cleaning up the mess, which some imbeciles call “an infection.”
In other words, superoxide dismutase activity will increase during stress, as in acute poisoning, as in after ingesting something as extremely toxic as black seeds. So, this is simply a normal reaction to poisoning and acute stress within the body, which also proves how toxic black seeds actually are. It’s just incredible that they lack the simple biochemical knowledge to understand this.

Examine.com’s take
“This umbrella review supports the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of black seed, which may mediate its favorable effects on aspects of cardiovascular and metabolic health. Although the effects were observed across various health conditions, the short intervention durations make it unclear whether these benefits translate into long-term health improvements.”
Ah, once again the staff at Examine fails the simplest basics of biology and biochemistry. They are either complete imbeciles or simply shills for the pharmaceutical- and supplement industry. It’s not “favorable” when it happens suddenly due to acute poisoning as we clearly have established.
Examine staffers, do you really think that taking an acknowledged toxic seed will magically decrease the toxic load in the body, as in just wiping it out without a trace and then magically heal some tissue without the need of any extra nutrients or compounds so that C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-alpha suddenly decreased?
Or, is it more likely that the toxic compounds interfered with the production of C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-alpha and that is why they suddenly decreased? And, if that is the case, what do you think will happen in the body if you can’t detoxify and heal properly and you still expose it to the same toxic load? Yes, toxins will accumulate even faster and tissues, especially where detoxification takes place will take even more damage, as in the liver and kidneys. Eventually, this will lead to tumors and organ failure.

Again, the only way to actually lower the toxic load and heal damaged tissue, as when C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-alpha are elevated, as in “inflammation,” is by removing the offenders, as in the toxins, and nourish the body so it actually has the resources to detoxify and heal. So simple, so logical, yet never mentioned as it goes against their agenda to keep us sick, weak, dumbed-down and dependent on their “solutions” and their system.
